The Divine Purifying Power of Jesus

In Mark 1:40–45, a leper boldly approaches Jesus, kneeling in faith and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus does the unthinkable—He touches the unclean man and says, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Instantly, the leprosy is gone. This passage showcases not only Christ’s healing power but His divine authority to purify what is defiled. Jesus is not defiled by the leper’s condition; rather, His holiness overcomes impurity.
